Coastal Sno was born in the summer of 2022 from a shared love of sunshine, surfing, cool music, and tasty treats by the water. What started as a casual conversation over a cup of shave ice—while dreaming of retirement, waves, and where the next concert might take us—quickly turned into a real-life adventure.

Founders Kristi and Michael Elliott created Coastal Sno as a way to blend everything they love: the beach lifestyle, good vibes, community, and travel. With Kristi’s background in Human Resources and Michael still working as an operator at a chemical plant, launching a mobile business was no small feat. But fueled by a love for the outdoors and a desire to make people smile, they jumped in—navigating permits, learning the ropes, and building something meaningful one scoop at a time.

Today, Coastal Sno is a Hawaiian shave ice trailer bringing a taste of paradise to Seabrook, TX. Located in front of Sam’s Boat and Marine Max Marina, we’re proud to offer a chill hangout spot by the water where guests can kick back under shaded picnic tables, enjoy reggae-inspired beats, and indulge in finely shaved ice topped with handcrafted syrups and sweet add-ons like sno-cap, candy, whipped cream, or Cool Cow Creamery ice cream.

Our fan favorites—like Harry Potter, Orange D’Light, Old Fashioned, Shark Attack, and Mermaid—bring smiles to every face, which is kind of our motto around here: “Smiles on Faces!” Whether you’re a local stopping by for a quick treat or visiting for the weekend, we want every visit to feel like a mini vacation.

We’re a family-run business, with help from our nephews Jaxson and Waylon, and community is at the heart of what we do. We love giving back—whether it’s serving at school and company events, personal parties, or volunteering at the annual Waves of Impact surf camp.

Looking ahead, we’re dreaming even bigger. In 2025, we’re launching Coastal Travel—our new travel advisory service to help others experience the freedom and joy we find on the road and by the ocean. It’s all part of building a full coastal lifestyle brand that blends our passions: surf, shave ice, and seeing the world.
